PART TIME HOUSEKEEPER
We have a vacancy for a housekeeper for one day per week (can be flexible on the day but needs to be the same day i.e. every Tuesday or every Wednesday for example) to join our team servicing our guest accommodation.
The hours are variable, depending on check outs for that day so can be anything from zero hours (if no check outs) to approximately 4 hours if all rooms check out (this is less likely but can happen). More often than not it will be 1 or 2 rooms to do. Also, the number of rooms to service can change at short notice due to last minute bookings/cancellations.
A typical change over requires stripping and remaking of the bed, cleaning the en suite shower room (sink, toilet, shower cubicle), replenishing the hospitality tray, emptying bins, hoovering and mopping the wooden/tiled floors and wiping round of all surfaces.
The work is physically demanding but extremely satisfying if you like cleaning and seeing a job well done. Our reviews are consistently high (9.6 on booking.com) and the standards of cleanliness of our rooms is repeatedly remarked upon.
Start time is from 10am until approx 11am/12noon/1pm/2pm depending on the number of rooms to do. There is also the opportunity for extra hours to provide holiday cover. Rate of pay is £15 per hour plus holiday entitlement on a pro rata basis.

PART TIME CHEF
We are looking for a part time experienced chef, capable of running service, to slot in with the existing team, covering a couple of evenings and/or days per week and offering holiday cover if possible. The evenings we currently need cover with are Mondays and Wednesdays, starting at 5pm and finishing at 9pm. These shifts are essential but further hours could be made available if required.
This position would suit someone who already has a daytime job and is looking to supplement their income by working two evenings per week or alternatively, someone who is looking to cut back on hours and only work part time.
This position was previously filled by a private event chef who was able to fit the hours we required around their private work which tended to be weekend based.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to pick up some extra hours or cut back. We need someone who is reliable, conscientious, hardworking and happy to work within a small established team.
The position is permanent with paid holiday on a pro-rata basis. You will also be entitled to a share of the service charge on any shift you work.
